MEET OUR EXPERT - Dan Corrigan from ARCPANEL

Take a moment to get to know Dan Corrigan, ARCPANEL’S newest account manager.  Dan is based in Wollongong and looks after Southern NSW and the ACT.

Dan always enjoys the opportunity to meet some amazing minds as he engages with talented regional architects, conversing and gaining insight into their world while being able to see the passion they have for their craft being brought to life through their designs.

The networking aspect of his role at ARCPANEL and the opportunity to meet people with extraordinary vision and diverse perspectives are what Dan loves most about his work. He is passionate about being able to provide high-performance solutions to energy efficiency and sustainability demands, helping to provide a thriving future for our country.

Dan is cognisant of the many challenges faced by regional communities, but can see the myriad ways architecture has the ability to make a positive contribution.

He feels strongly that designing the sustainable and efficient architecture that is missing in so much of regional Australia will enhance communities by supporting sustainable development and improving quality of life. He sees that architectural projects such as the development of community spaces and mixed-use developments have the ability to stimulate sustainable growth and play a role in advocating for a lighter footprint on the land.

Social isolation is another challenge that Dan sees in regional communities; he views thoughtful planning and the creation of social hubs as playing an important role in reducing this and promoting positive community engagement.

Healthcare disparities are another area of concern in the regions and Dan feels strongly that the design of accessible and well-equipped healthcare facilities are paramount in reducing the time frames and distance required to access state of the art care.
