Hal Guida of guida moseley brown architects and RAA president Tim Lee are the co-creative directors of CONTEXT. Hal’s focus will be the main seminar day on Friday 21st March, with Tim concentrating on the fringe and social events.

HAROLD GUIDA
Guida Moseley Brown Architects 

Harold (Hal) Guida has over fifty years of international experience on wide ranging architectural, interior, planning and urban design projects undertaken in the USA, Australia, South-East Asia, Western Pacific, and China. 

Hal joined Mitchell/Giurgola Architects directly from university in 1968, and after leading numerous projects undertaken from Philadelphia, he relocated to Canberra in 1981 as Mitchell/Giurgola & Thorp Architects (MGT) Partner-in-Charge of Design Coordination for the New Parliament House. Following the closure of MGT he was a founder of successors Guida Moseley Brown Architects which celebrated twenty years of practice in July 2024. 

TIM LEE
Tim Lee Architects

Tim is the President of RAA and principal of a small practice located in Goulburn NSW. After growing up in the Canberra region and moving to Goulburn in the early 2000’s, Tim has spent the majority of his career working closely with regional communities on a wide range of projects. Tim’s practice has developed a methodology of designing region-specific climate appropriate solutions focused on the end user’s experience of the built environment.

Tim is the current president of the Regional Architecture Association and is passionate about our capacity as design professionals to lead the development of regional areas, maintaining regional identity and reinforcing the need for considered, appropriate design advocacy for communities and individuals alike.
