‘ I have been involved in the building industry since 1979, I started working for biggest shopfitting company In Australia at that time and this is when I first had involvement with Architects. I ended up running the QLD office for 5 years came back to Sydney as National sales manager being involved in new layouts for Woolworths outlets, Big W, Suzanne Grae and specialty stores. In 1999 I resigned to take a breather and ended up helping with a presentation to SOCOG for a friend’s catering company and we won food supply for the police /Army and bus drivers a very interesting time nonstop 12 hour days for 3 weeks and a lot of fun.

In December 2000, I joined a Marketing company who represented around 50 leading companies, we did product presentations to Architects, designer, builder, councils ,some engineers. 7 x 1 hour calls a day ,4 days of presentation per week 1 day obtaining appointments. All over NSW and Melbourne . It was fantastic meeting the various Chapters of each Association, also Trade shows with our client’s presentation at Tusculum house. With my shopfitting experience I helped design some stands for some companies we represented. In 2006 I was asked to join Weathertex I love the story they had to tell and fantastic environmental aspect of weathertex from Manufacture to the market. I introduced to Weathertex to AIA, BDA, MBA, HIA and even CPD presentation it was a challenge. Now having seen how we have grown and the wonderful relationships I have been lucky to share with such talented people in the design world and at work. I still love helping and learning. ‘
