MEET OUR EXPERT - Farzan Naghshineh from AWS

AWS (Architectural Window Systems) is another Founding Technical Member of the RAA and have a presence at the majority of our in person events. Farzan Naghshineh is their Sydney based architectural specification expert, looking after NSW as a whole.

AWS offer Australia's leading range of high performance aluminium windows and doors. They offer an extensive range of Australian designed and manufactured aluminium window and door suites for residential and commercial applications through their national network of over 200 fabricators.

As he travels across the state, Farzan finds that one of the most fulfilling aspects of connecting with architects in regional areas is the opportunity to witness the unique creativity and innovation that emerges from diverse landscapes and communities. Engaging with architects in these regions allows him, and AWS as an organisation, to gain invaluable insights into local challenges, cultural nuances, and environmental considerations, inspiring them to develop tailored solutions that resonate with the distinct character of each area. Moreover, collaborating with regional architects fosters a sense of partnership and fellowship, as he works together with them to shape the built environment and positively impact the lives of individuals and communities across Australia.

Farzan sees that regional communities often face challenges related to limited resources, infrastructure gaps, and environmental sustainability. He recognises that architects can contribute positively by designing solutions that address these challenges, such as sustainable infrastructure and community-centric spaces.
