Janne Ryan and Peter Salhani are the creative directors for RAA’s upcoming Dungog event VITAL: Questions of Resilience.

JANNE RYAN

Janne Ryan is a farmer, Dungog based, in the NSW Hunter Valley, and an award-winning story producer who has worked across innovation, design and architecture. She is Founding Curator, TEDxSydney, and has worked with TED Conferences (NYC), Australian Financial Review, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Semi Permanent and Remix Sydney.   She moved from Sydney to Dungog in 2022, at the start of Covid,  to focus on climate change solutions, farming cattle and carbon. 

PETER SALHANI

Peter Salhani is a writer and editor for print and online journals including The Local Project, ArchitectureAU, Powerhouse Sydney, Openbook, Wish, Foreground, Folio, Houses and more. He’s a collaborator with cultural institutions including Museums of History NSW, Sydney Opera House, NSW State Library, and an invited juror and guest moderator. Currently authoring a book on architect Renzo Piano’s second Sydney building, Peter lives and works on Bidjigal–Gadigal Country in Bondi, Australia.
